Babysitters Training Course being offered

DAMARISCOTTA— Learn the skills and techniques necessary to be a responsible, competent and fun babysitter in a one-day class offered by Central Lincoln County Adult Education on Wednesday, June 22.
This Red Cross course, designed for students ages 11-14, will cover such topics as: 
  • child care essentials
  • the proper response and handling of emergency situations
  • behavior management, safety for the sitter
  • babysitting as a business. 

Students should bring a lunch and a snack. However, they should not bring any electronics or phones. A certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.
 

The class will be held at Lincoln County Healthcare Education Center located at 66 Chapman Street, in Damariscotta on Wednesday, June 22 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. The cost of the course is $44 if you register online and use promo code EARLYBIRD by June 15 and $49 for all other registrations. There are only a couple of slots left, so register today to ensure your child’s place in the class and to save!
